Michael Bentley Moving Up To New York Radio with Moonlite Gram Show

New York, NY (December 20, 2014) – When the radio show, Thru the Wire, hit the airwaves in the spring of 2014, it was the first of it’s kind. A talk radio show on talk radio that didn’t fit in as a boring talk radio show. Thru the Wire was a hit and the vision of executive producer, Michael Bentley, was one of the main reasons.

The vision that came to fruition was a show with no ads, no boring guests, a quick format that moves through segments just as swiftly as they started.

Thru the Wire airs on Friday’s out of the greater Charlotte/Gastonia area, and was syndicated on ESPN Radio in 3 markets and on Fox Sports Radio in Kentucky. The trial period of the show is over, and now as Thru the Wire has been picked up for the entire 2015 year, it seems the trial results are in.

The results are easy to see as a success as Bentley is now getting his second show picked up and this time it is going live on New York Radio.

Bentley is debuting a new show on Sunday nights at midnight rightly called, The Moonlite Gram Show. The show will have a mix of hosts, guests, and formats.

The high profile guests that were seen on Thru the Wire this year was another factor for the success. Guests included Pete Rose, Larry Holmes, Jamaal Wilkes, Todd Maravich, Muggsy Bogues, Tameka “Tiny Harris (VH1), Dr. Dre’s son, Curtis Young, Freeway Rick Ross, Fast Eddie Chambers, Boxer Anthony Barnes (Kronk Gym), Nappy Roots, and many major journalists joined the show for discussion including Nigel Collins, Brandon Scoop B Robinson, and boxing Hall of Famer, Al Bernstein.

The Moonlite Gram Show will be more a talk show with high level guests with subjects ranging from politics, current events, sports, and more.

Bentley has used the strength of his first show to land a co-op deal with TuneIn and New York Radio.

The venture between Bentley and TuneIn is just one of many coming this year for the young entrepreneur.

TuneIn is a privately held company based in Palo Alto, California founded by Bill Moore as RadioTime in Dallas, Texas in 2002.

In May 2014, TuneIn announced that its service had over 50 million monthly active users.

TuneIn Radio is available as an app on all smartphones and tablets, online at tunein.com and on over 200 platforms, including over 55 vehicle models, including Ford, General Motors, Tesla Motors, BMW, and many more such as Sonos, Logitech, Samsung TV, Roku, Google TV, and PlayStation 3 and Ouya game consoles.

TuneIn’s website is currently available in 22 different languages. Each language has its own version of the website with content tailored for the specific language or region.

The Moonlite Gram Show will air on Sunday nights at midnight. (12 AM Monday morning actually!)

The show can be heard online or on any of the above available locations by just going to NYTalkRadio.com as the clock strikes midnight Sunday night/Monday morning.
